ABOUT THE YOUNG REPUBLICAN NETWORK

Unlike other websites and organizations, this system is the result of technology developed by Republican activists for the purpose of promoting Republican activists, empowering Republican campaigns, and advancing Republican club development.  We realize, like you, that there are Google web tools, facebook, ning, and the blogosphere.  The network is not intended to replace those resources - though we do want to replace ning! -  but to work with and incorporate them as part of a comprehensive communications and engagement plan.  What makes our network unique is that it is specifically designed to help us build strong clubs that are campaign focused and issues driven.  What's best about this is that as we continue to move forward and advance these tools we're pushing towards what we consider Conservative "technology independence".  Google, facebook, and ning are owned and run by Liberals.  We can’t avoid using their resources but if we're smart we can work towards building our own content management systems and social resources.

"Nothing good comes easy! Through the work, feedback, and contributions of hundreds of people we continue to mature the network and prepare for current and future campaign cycles.  All of us who use or advanced the network are in this for the success of the Republican Party, the success of Republican campaigns, and the preservation of our great country!" - Moshe Starkman

Moshe Moshe:  Very cool!
Michael Zweifel Michael Zweifel: Organizers said they had expected 20 or 25 people to attend.

"I'm thrilled to have this many people out," said Ed Richards, president of the Missouri Pachyderm Foundation. He said he thought the turnout was directly correlated to Republican displeasure with President Barack Obama and Democrats in Washington, D.C.

That theme resonated throughout the hourlong meeting at D. Rowe's Restaurant, 1005 Club Village Drive.

"The suddenness and synchronicity of the anti-O'Donnell online onslaught is enough to make me wonder if there is some equivalent of Journolist among conservative bloggers, to which I am not privy."

Eroding support for Democrats is roiling dozens of House races and boosting Republican confidence that the GOP will retake the House in November.

Brodie Brodie:  DO NOT take anything for granted. People need to get out there and fight for every inch up to and through election day. Talk to your friends, talk to your family, talk to your neighbors!
Moshe Moshe:  I agree. Further great news is that enthusiasm for voting is way up for Republicans and way down for Democrats. We're not only ready to vote but we want to. Woo!
Brodie Brodie:  A lot of people may want to up to and on election day, but there are those who decide to stay home on election day because they figure someone else will cover their vote, or because they figure there will be so many they won't need to vote. Don't let people sit on their butts November 2nd.
Brodie Brodie:  Given the trend of contested ballot counts, we know that EVERY VOTE COUNTS.
Moshe Moshe:  Alright, I'm in. Let's make sure to keep the fire hot!

New Jersey's Republican congressional challengers are usually outgunned and out-funded by incumbent Democrats, but this year they have one benefit they haven't had in at least a decade: a Republican governor with a growing national profile.

Democrats aren't the only incumbents in trouble this November. With a crop of feisty, fresh-faced conservatives making noise in the House and a wave of Tea Party-backed newcomers determined to join them, senior Republicans could have a mutiny on their hands.
